Advising Students Using IQWeb
 

1. To use online registration you must first log in to the IQWeb system. (http://trojansweb.andersonuniversity.edu/iqweb).

 

Login to IQWeb with your Login ID and Password.

 

*Note: Your IQWeb password does not change when your e-mail account password is changed.

 

2. After logging in to IQWeb, you will see a calendar on your screen. Your name should also appear at the top of the screen, directly to the left of the Anderson University header. Click on Student Advising in the gold left-hand menu.

 

 

Your screen should now look like the one below:

 

 

3. Click on the My Advisees tab. You can search for the student by entering in information about the student (such as last name) and clicking on the button.

 

*Note: You do not need to enter in all of the information about the student. The last name and possibly a first name should be enough. You could also enter the Student ID Number in the People ID category. If you do not list any information, all of your advisees will be listed.

 

4. After you search for your advisees, a list of students should appear on your screen similar to the one below.

 

5. You can view the student's schedule, grades, unofficial transcript, academic plan, instructor permission, or approve their schedule by clicking on the in the appropriate row and column.

 

6. You can view each student's profile by clicking on the student's name in blue.

 

7. You can e-mail the students directly from IQWeb by checking the box to the left of the students' names and then clicking on the button. Clicking on the button will check all of the boxes - allowing you to e-mail all of the students in one e-mail.
