Entering Midterm and Final Grades
1. To use online registration you must
first log in to the IQWeb system. (http://trojansweb.andersonuniversity.edu/iqweb).
Login to IQWeb with your Login ID and Password.
*Note: Your IQWeb password does not change when your e-mail account password is changed.
2. After logging in to IQWeb, you will see a calendar on your screen. Your name should also appear at the top of the screen, directly to the left of the Anderson University header. Click on Gradebook in the gold left-hand menu.

3. You should be brought to a screen that lists your students and the grade activities for your class. You can use the Year/Term and Class selection boxes at the top of the screen to change the class. Your screen will be similar to the one below:

4. Recording Attendance : Please note: Any data entered in this area may also be viewed within PowerCAMPUS.
After clicking on Gradebook in the gold left-hand menu and selecting the appropriate Year/Term and Class (See Steps 2 & 3), click on the
Attendance tab. Next you will need to select the view from the drop down list box that you wish to utilize
for tracking attendance.
-Summary View allows you to view all students along with their absences and instances of
tardiness. You can enter an overall attendance status and a last attend date. This does not record
per day attendance, only the overall attendance.
-Student View allows you to view the daily attendance statuses for a specific student and enter
comments for that student.
-Daily View allows you to view all students and enter the attendance statuses of your students on a
specific date.
IQ.Web defaults to setting each student to Present. You can assign an attendance
status manually for each student or automatically for all by selecting the Apply To All button
located next to the Attend Status drop down list box. You can enter comments for your students
for a specific date if needed. This is the method preferred by many faculty. The summary of daily
data is visible on the Summary view.
5. Entering Grades for Activities:After clicking on Gradebook in the gold left-hand menu and selecting the appropriate Year/Term and Class (See Steps 2 & 3), click on the Activities tab. Then Select the View from the drop down list box that you wish to utilize for entering
activity grades. There are three different views that can be used, depending on your personal preference:
-Summary View allows you to view all students along with each of their course activities. You can
then enter activity grades.
-Activity View allows you to select a specific activity and enter grades for each student that was
assigned the selected activity. You can then enter grade points, activity grades, and instructor
comments.
- Student View allows you to select a specific student and enter grades for each activity that was
assigned to the selected student. You can then enter grade points, activity grades, and instructor
comments.
Depending on your view, you will be able to enter grades and comments. Once you have finished entering
grades, be sure to press the save button.
6. Entering Midterm and Final Grades: After clicking on Gradebook in the gold left-hand menu and selecting the appropriate Year/Term and Class (See Steps 2 & 3), click on the Grades tab. Grades have to be opened by SAS for online grading to be active, which is typically done the weekend before midterm exams and final exams. Assuming the term has been opened for grading by SAS, your current class list should appear:
a. If you have used Course Manager and have Mapped your course (See Setting Up and Maintaining Your Course if you have questions about Mapping Your Course), you can have IQWeb calculate the Midterm/Final grades for you to approve. Simply click on the or button to calculate either the Midterm or Final grade. Review the grades and make any changes by using the drop-down arrow to the right of the grade and selecting a different grade. (See the picture in "b" below. When you are finished, press the Save button. *Grades cannot be changed once they are saved.
b. If you do not use Course Manager: On the right hand side, under Midterm/Final, there is a blank dropdown box for each student. Click on the drop-down arrow and a dropdown of all the available grades will appear as shown in the image below. Select the appropriate grade and repeat this procedure to enter a grade for each student listed. When you are finished entering in the grades, press the Save button. *Grades cannot be changed once they are saved.

The possible grades are set in the PowerCampus system.
-The grades of I, W, IM or MW apply only to final grades and CAN NOT be entered by Faculty
because they all require documentation and signatures of approval before they can be entered into
the system.
-I, W, IM or MW grades do not apply to mid-terms. At this point, the student should get a letter
grade or P/F.
-The NG grade applies only to labs that are attached to a course (i.e. Chemistry Labs).
*Note: You will NOT receive a notice that your grades have been submitted, but you will be able to tell if they have been submitted because the grades will be listed on this page but will not be in a drop-down list and cannot be changed.
CAUTION: While you are entering grades, if the following window/question
should arise, please be aware that when you say okay to “Would you like to
save your changes?” that is identical to pressing the submit grades button.
This is normal behavior should you have several pages of grades to enter.
Please be sure that all grades are properly entered on the current pages, prior
to clicking on other pages.

-After you have submitted your grades you will no longer be able to change the submitted grades. To change grades once they are submitted please contact SAS.
-You may want to use the print function of your web browser to print a hard copy of your grades for your records.
-Repeat the above procedure for each of your classes.
