Application Checklist

Traditional Program Application Process

  1. A completed Anderson University Admission Application.
  2. A $25.00 non-refundable application fee. (Teacher Cadet non-refundable application fee is $100)
  3. Freshman:

    1. Official high school transcripts
    2. Official SAT score (Anderson's code is 5008)
      AND/OR
    3. Official ACT score (Anderson's code is 3832)

    Transfer:

    1. All official college transcripts
    2. Official high school transcripts and SAT/ACT scores (if you have completed
      fewer than 24 hours of college coursework)

    Former Students:

    1. Official college transcripts of all coursework completed since attending Anderson.

Adult Studies/Online Program Application Process

  1. Submit the following materials to the Admissions Office
    • Apply online.
    • $25 application fee
    • Official copy of high school transcripts or GED scores (first-time college students only)
    • College transcripts from all colleges attended (transfers only) to be reviewed for possible transfer credit
    • Anyone under 21 will need to fill out a special circumstances form (click here for more.)
  2. Acceptance
  3. Based on the submission of the above materials, students' applications will be reviewed and an admission decision will be made. 

  4. Advising
  5. Upon acceptance to the Adult Studies program, each student is assigned a Journey Coach to assist in identifying appropriate courses every semester and to serve as a mentor and advocate as you progress to graduation.

  6. Financial Aid
  7. To begin classes with no delays, you must complete all financial aid arrangements with the Financial Aid Office and Anderson Central prior to the first day of classes.

  8. New Student Orientation
  9. All new online students will be required to complete an online orientation. The link to this orientation will be included in the acceptance information sent out by the Journey Coach.

Graduate Program Application Process

  1. Submit the following materials to the Admissions Office
    • Apply online.
    • $25 application fee
    • College transcripts from all colleges attended
    • Additional materials may be requested according to the major to which you are applying.
  2. Acceptance
  3. Based on the submission of the above materials, students' applications will be reviewed and an admission decision will be made. 

  4. Advising
  5. Upon acceptance to the Graduate program, each student is assigned a Journey Coach to assist in identifying appropriate courses every semester and to serve as a mentor and advocate as you progress to graduation.

  6. Financial Aid
